Knicks forward Lance Thomas took part in Thursday morning's shootaround as he nears his return from knee surgery, head coach David Fizdale told reporters Thursday morning.
"He's getting back," Fizdale said, according to the New York Post's Marc Berman. "He's getting close. Every day he's moving a little bit better. He's going after it. He's going to come back sooner than later for sure."
Thomas underwent arthroscopic surgery on Nov. 8 to remove loose bodies in his left knee.
The 30-year-old Thomas has averaged 3.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 11 games this season. He is in the third year of a four-year deal.
