Domingo German will not pitch for the Yankees in October.

SNY's Andy Martino has confirmed that German's administrative leave has been extended by Major League Baseball through the postseason. Martino also notes that no suspension will be announced as of yet, as the investigation is still ongoing.

Martino had previously reported that German could miss the postseason because of an alleged domestic violence incident involving the right-hander. MLB originally placed German on administrative leave last Thursday, and today was the deadline for them to extend that leave.

WFAN's Sweeny Murti was the first to report that the leave was being extended.
