The Rangers have reportedly reached a deal with the Stars to send LW Mats Zuccarello to Dallas for one second round two conditional draft picks, per TSN's Darren Dreger. The picks are for the second and third round.

Zuccarello, 31, was one of the Rangers being talked about around the trade deadline. The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun said the Flames were also on his radar.

Though Rangers fans may not be happy with Zuccarello traded away, he is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. So the Rangers get something in return for a player they may not have signed this summer.

Zuccarello has 22 points on the season (seven goals, 15 assists) in his last 16 games. Over the season, he has 11 goals and 26 assists in 46 games.
