On Monday night, Mets 3B Todd Frazier made an insane catch as he tumbled into the third-base seats against the Dodgers. But did he actually make the grab?
SNY's Steve Gelbs did a little investigating on the matter, and he found out that Frazier actually didn't make the catch. Instead, he fooled the umpire with a heads-up play of his own.

"The actual answer is no. He did not make the catch," Gelbs said. "And beyond not just making the catch, the ball that Todd Frazier ended up holding up to the umpire was not the baseball. It was a rubber baseball, the likes of which 6, 7-year-old kids would use."
Frazier may have looked like a master with the leather, but he was truly a master of disguise.
