Knicks rookie C Mitchell Robinson celebrated his 21st birthday with some shots.

No, not those shots.

Instead, the neophyte was in the team's practice facility taking jumpers around midnight before he became legal for his first drink. He was preparing for his birthday game against the Bulls at The Garden, where he posted a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Knicks have only six games left on their regular season schedule, so he'll wait before truly celebrating his birthday.

"I can now but probably not until later -- after the season," Robinson told The Post's Marc Berman

Robinson wants to cap off his great rookie season on a high note. He has already rewrote the rookie block record with 150 on the year, and is second in the league in that category behind the Pacers' Myles Turner. He also averages 7.1 points and 6.1 rebounds with a 69.1 field goal percentage thanks to most of his point coming on the way of ferocious alley-oop dunks.

It has been more than a good first impression for the New Orleans native, and though he'll celebrate his first year in the NBA properly this summer, he knows there is much more work to do for him to have an even better sophomore season.
