Knicks head coach David Fizdale told reporters Monday that he would be happy if Kevin Knox missed only two weeks due to his left ankle sprain.

Knox is not with the team on their upcoming two-game road trip, and will be re-evaluated this Sunday.

The Knicks face the Bucks in Milwaukee on Monday night before playing the Heat in Miami on Wednesday. They return home to face the Warriors on Friday night and then host the Nets on Monday, Oct. 29.

"I had a real bad feeling in my gut when he went down," Fizdale said of Knox after Saturday's game. "Where my angle was at I could see the thing basically hit the floor, roll to the floor. I knew right away when he stayed down that it was a [significant] one. I feel for the kid."

While running in transition, Knox turned his ankle as he drove to the lane. He couldn't put pressure on the left foot as he was helped off.

Knox has played three games this season, where he is averaging 13.5 points. He totaled 17 Saturday night, shooting an even 50 percent (7-for-14) including 3-for-4 from beyond the arc.
