Charles Oakley would certainly like to see James Dolan sell the Knicks and he may have some inside information on a potential buyer.
In a video with Bill Simmons and Jason Concepcion of The Ringer, Oakley said he has "heard" Amazon owner Jeff Bezos wants to buy the Knicks.
"He was trying to do Amazon (HQ2) in Long Island, went to Virginia, right? So he still wants to do some real estate in New York, why not buy the Garden?" Oakley said.

Dolan has repeatedly said that he has no plans on selling the Knicks after initially telling ESPN in December that he would be open to it but there were no bonafide offers.
Oakley, of course, has some bad blood with Dolan. The Knicks owner had him ejected from a game in 2017 and arrested on misdemeanor assault charges, of which he was later cleared, and also banned him from Madison Square Garden.
Dolan eventually lifted the ban but Oakley has still not returned and filed a lawsuit against Dolan for defamation, battery and false imprisonment.
Oakley also said because of the management issues with the Knicks, he does not believe top free agents Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving will come to New York, but did have a bold prediction of who will join the Knicks instead.
"Right now it's too much problems with management, the fans, problems with the teams and tanking," he said. "I think they'll end up getting Kemba [Walker] and [Jimmy] Butler, before KD and Kyrie ... I don't see them going to New York."
