Jets head coach Todd Bowles did not address his future after Sunday's 38-3 loss to the Patriots, presumably his final game with New York.
"I don't talk about my job," Bowles said. "That's been consistent since I've been here."
Bowles is expected to be fired after the season, according to SNY.tv's Ralph Vacchiano, and the Jets have already begun preparing to find his replacement, Vacchiano reports.
But speaking to reporters after the game, Bowles did not address his job status. He is expected to meet with Jets CEO Christopher Johnson on Monday.
"We meet like we always meet, no different than any other game," Bowles said of his plans. "I'll meet with him, probably tomorrow or whatever, and we'll go from there."
The Jets finished the season 4-12 and at the bottom of the AFC East for the third consecutive year. Despite winning 10 of their first 15 games in Bowles' first season in 2015, New York has gone 14-35 over the past three years.
Asked if he feels he deserves to keep his position as Jets head coach, Bowles said, "I don't talk about my job."
