The Jets have agreed to terms with a second member of their 2020 NFL Draft class, as Gang Green agreed to a rookie deal with wide receiver Denzel Mims, SNY Insider Ralph Vacchiano confirms.

Mims, the Baylor product selected with the 59th overall pick, agreed to a four-year, $5.5 million deal with $3 million guaranteed, the typical rookie contract numbers for where he was drafted.

Mims joins fifth-round pick Bryce Hall as the first two members of the Jets' 2020 NFL Draft class to sign, while seven others remain without a deal, including first-round pick Mekhi Becton.

The Jets are likely expecting big things out of Mims right away, as he figures to play opposite of Breshad Perriman on the outside with Jamison Crowder occupying the slot. Following Robby Anderson's departure for Carolina, the Jets don't have much depth at the top of the receiver chart.

With the Baylor Bears, Mims caught a total of 186 passes for 2,925 yards and 28 touchdowns, including 12 scores during his senior season, and Gang Green will no doubt be looking for some production from the 6-foot-3 receiver.
