With the Jets prepared to let LB Jordan Jenkins hit the free agent market, the Giants -- in dire need of pass-rushers -- are one of the teams interested in signing him, reports SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.

According to Vacchiano, the Giants are looking for bargain pass-rushers. Vacchiano adds that if the Giants sign Jenkins, it would likely signal that Markus Golden is headed elsewhere.

Along with Jenkins, the Giants also have Kyle Van Noy on their list, per Vacchiano.

Jenkins, 25, made just over $2 million for the Jets in 2019 during what was his fourth year in the league. He was selected by the Jets in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

During his four seasons with the Jets, Jenkins has amassed 20.5 sacks (including 8.0 in 2019) and 157 total tackles.

Jenkins has been incredibly durable during his career, playing in 60 of a possible 64 regular season games, including 50 starts.
