Anthony Kay's continues to make his mark in the Mets farm system this year.
The left-handed pitching prospect will represent the Mets in this year's All-Star Futures Game in Cleveland.
Kay, 24, posted a 7-3 record with a 1.49 ERA and 70 strikeouts with Double-A Binghamton, which earned a promotion to Triple-A Syracuse.
Kay has struggled in his first three starts in Syracuse, but he has still managed to climb the Mets' prospect rankings from No. 8 to No. 3.
There are also a couple of former Mets prospects who will be in the game. Both Jarred Kelenic and Justin Dunn, whom the Mets traded to the Mariners in the deal that landed Robinson Cano and Edwin Diaz, will represent Seattle.
The 19-year-old Kelenic is hitting a slash line of .296/.377/.560 with 13 home runs and 37 RBI in both low and high-A ball combined this eason. Dunn, 23, is 5-3 with a 3.45 ERA and 90 strikeouts in 70.1 innings pitched with Double-A Arkansas.
