With trade speculation dominating the offseason, here's a list of Yankees who have been rumored in deals, where they rank them from most likely to be traded to least likely, and why.
1. RHP Sonny Gray
It's not often when the GM says flatly he's trading a guy because he can't pitch in New York. It's only a matter of where he lands.
2. OF Clint Frazier
There's no room for him in the big-league outfield, which makes him expendable.
3. INF Miguel Andujar
Andujar is a highly desirable asset based on what he did offensively as a rookie. He also could be the odd man out at some point if the Yanks sign Manny Machado.
4. 1B Greg Bird
The Yankees' patience on him might be running out. They also might be thinking about moving Andujar to first base for the long run.
5. 1B Luke Voit
They'd be selling high on Voit right now, and it all depends how conviced they are if he's the real thing.

6. OF Aaron Hicks
Hicks has a lot of value for offense and defense as a center fielder. But he is only a year away from free agency, which limits the return Hicks would fetch.
7. C Gary Sanchez
The Yankees continue to pledge their allegiance to Sanchez, based on what he's already done with the bat. But at what point do they run out of patience with his defense?
8. OF Jacoby Ellsbury
He'd be at the top of this list, but Ellsbury still has two years, $42 million coming to him. Nobody's taking on that contract.
9. OF Giancarlo Stanton
He has a full no-trade clause, and the Dodgers may be the only place he'd agree to go. So, even if the Yanks wanted to deal Stanton to open the door for Bryce Harper, it's highly unlikely.
10. RHP Dellin Betances
With David Robertson and Zach Britton on the market as free agents, Betances is too valuable to trade. Being a year away from free agency limits his value as well.
