Zion Williamson may have played his last game with Duke.

The freshman phenom and potential No. 1 pick in June's NBA draft had his season end with a 68-67 loss to 2-seed Michigan State on Sunday in the Elite Eight.

The 6-foot-7, 285-pound Williamson, who averaged 22.6 points and 8.7 rebounds with the Blue Devils, scored 24 points and brought down 14 rebounds, however the ball wasn't in his hands late.

Trailing 68-66 with 7 seconds left, teammate R.J. Barrett, another potential top-five draft pick, drove to the hoop and was fouled on a game-tying layup attempt. He missed the first free throw but made the second. After a quick foul, Michigan State inbounded the ball and ran out the clock.

Williamson, who had two early fouls in the first half, still found various ways to make impressive plays throughout the game. He had a crucial driving layup late in the second half ...

... blocked a 3-pointer ...

... made a 3-pointer ...

... showed off his physicality for an offensive rebound, then made a put-back layup as he was fouled ...

... and had a clutch assist to Barrett late ...

But Williamson's freshman season, and likely his college career, will end without a trip to the Final Four.

Should he declare for the draft, the Knicks, who own the NBA's worst record, could be waiting if they win the NBA draft lottery, which takes place on May 14.
