Knicks fans continue to sift through every vague update they can find on the health of star Kristaps Porzingis. The player himself spoke about his timetable while catching ACB basketball in Spain.

The answer, as it has been since he tore his ACL against the Bucks in February, is that there is no answer yet. Porzingis doesn't have an exact date that he should be ready.

"I have to be smart. And I have a team that will help me figure that out," Porzingis told a Spanish television station, via Ian Begley of ESPN.

Porzingis has been rehabbing his surgically-repaired ACL in Spain with Real Madrid.

In 48 games before his season-ending injury, Porzingis averaged 22.7 points and 6.6 rebounds en route to his first All-Star selection. Porzingis is loosely expected to be out until at least December.
