Reggie Bullock has yet to make his Knicks debut, but he could be one step closer.
The veteran wing is headed to the Knicks' G League affiliate in Westchester, the organization announced Thursday.
New York added that guard Kadeem Allen will be available for Thursday's 7:30 p.m. tip-off with the Brooklyn Nets.
Since the Knicks signed Bullock to a two-year contract worth $8.2 million July 16, the seventh-year pro has been working back from offseason back surgery.
He underwent surgery for his cervical disk herniation July 17 and resumed full participation in practice last Tuesday, expressing excitement over the anticipated return.
"I'm very excited, I'm excited to put on a Knicks jersey," Bullock said last Wednesday. "It was my reason to come here to New York, to be able to help the franchise, play for the city, play basketball ... I was down for a bit. But now I just work my way back and I'm just ready to be out there with my guys.
"I've been cleared for practice, now it's just all about getting in the groove with the guys, getting in the mix, and continuing to just work and just getting my conditioning back up and just being out there with the guys, just learning all the sets."
Westchester's next game is Saturday at 7 p.m. against the New Orleans Pelicans-affiliated Erie BayHawks.
Against the Nets (16-13), the Knicks (7-24) are without point guard Dennis Smith Jr. (strained left oblique) while small forward Marcus Morris (sore left Achilles) is questionable and shooting guard Wayne Ellington (sore left Achilles) is doubtful.
The Knicks activate Allen from Westchester after he averaged 11.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 26.2 minutes through 12 games played on the 2019-20 season.
In his only appearance with the Knicks this year, Allen dropped nine points on 3-of-6 shooting -- including a 3-for-4 clip from three-point range -- when he logged 16 minutes in Dec. 2's 132-88 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
