The NFL sent out a memo to all 32 clubs on Wednesday night, explaining protocols for reopening facilities that teams should have in place by May 15.
In the memo, Commissioner Roger Goodell says, "We will continue to work in a deliberate and thoughtful way to plan for the 2020 season, including with (Thursday's) schedule release, and we will be prepared to address any contingencies as they arise."
The first phase of team facilities reopening, according to Goodell, would involve team's allowing 50 percent of non-player employees (not to exceed 75 people) into the facility on any single day.
Of course, state and local regulations would need to allow people to return as well. No players would be permitted back during the initial phase, unless they were undergoing therapy or rehab at the facility before it was closed.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the protocols outlined by the league include "consent from local state government officials, establishment of a club infection response team, social distancing, temperature scanning," and more.
While the league will be releasing the 2020 schedule on Thursday night, there's still plenty of uncertainty regarding the season starting on time.
Due to this uncertainty, the Jets will not be selling single-game tickets on Thursday night, as outlined by SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.
