The Giants have re-signed free agent OL Spencer Pulley to a three-year deal worth $9.6 million, with $2.3 million guaranteed, reports SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.
Pulley had been scheduled to be a restricted free agent.
The signing of the 25-year-old Pulley, who started nine games for the Giants in 2018, gives Big Blue more depth for an offensive line that is being revamped.
Over the weekend, the Giants struck a trade with the Browns to exchange DE Olivier Vernon for 29-year-old guard Kevin Zeitler. According to Pro Football Focus, Zeitler was one of the best guards in the NFL last season, especially in pass-blocking. He allowed a pressure once every 58 pass-blocking snaps, which led all guards.
The team also re-signed 27-year-old center Jon Halapio over the weekend (he agreed to his exclusive rights tender).
With new and re-signed additions to the line, it's expected that Nate Solder and Will Hernandez will man the left side once again. And Halapio will have Zeitler on his right side if the Giants want him back at center.
