While Greg Bird became the latest member to join the Yankees' already crowded Injured List on Tuesday, manager Aaron Boone addressed the other players and their progress ahead of tonight's contest with the Red Sox.

Among the 11 members (including Bird), Miguel Andujar's status (shoulder) is still in question. Boone told reporters that he continues his program, which saw an increase in throwing as well as his normal hitting. While Andujar seems to be responding well to the treatment -- he hasn't had a setback -- it is still too early to make the determination for surgery to repair the shoulder tear or not.

Other than Andujar, Aaron Hicks and Troy Tulowitzki appear to be progressing nicely. Hicks hit off a tee and soft toss as well as throwing and running before the game. He should be taking part in batting practice on Wednesday or Thursday. For Tulowitzki, he ran on flat ground for the first time since his calf strain. He also took batting practice in the cage.

There are still no return dates set for anyone on the list. Players like Gary Sanchez and Dellin Betances have been shut down, but these few are looking to be on the right track (Giancarlo Stanton can be added to this group, too). With the Yankees struggling through all the ailments, getting one of these players back would be a major help.
