The deal is for one-year and is a two-way contract that would pay Fogarty $708,750 in the NHL and $70,000 in the minors. (Cap Friendly)

Fogarty, 25, was the Rangers third-round pick in 2011, played four-years at Notre Dame, two-years in Hartford and one game with the Rangers.
Fogarty has 40 points in 129 AHL games and was called up to play in the Rangers season finale last season.
He played 12:16, had two hits and was called for roughing.
Fogarty played against David Quinn's BU teams multiple times while at Notre Dame.
