Mets INF/OF Jeff McNeil said in late-September that he expected to be ready for Spring Training after having surgery on his wrist. It seems that he's on track.

McNeil, whose season ended with a few games left in the season after he suffered a right distal ulnar fracture when he was hit by a pitch, posted a video Friday of him hitting off a tee as he prepares for the season.

McNeil captioned his post: "Wrist and swing feeling great! Can't wait to get out to spring training and excited to see what this team can do this year!! #mets #LFGM"

Though teams have inquired this offseason about McNeil's availability via trade, the odds are that he's going nowhere. He is expected to be the Mets' starting third baseman in 2020 after splitting time between third base, second base, and the outfield in 2019.

McNeil followed up his terrific rookie season with an even more impressive second season in the majors, hitting .318/.384/.531 with 23 homers, 38 doubles, one triple and 75 RBI in 133 games.
