Potential Knicks draft target and star Duke freshman Zion Williamson scored a career-high 35 points in his eighth double-double of the season as the top-ranked Blue Devils lost to unranked Syracuse 95-91 in overtime on Monday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The electric freshman, who was playing without Cam Reddish, also recorded four blocks but missed a go-ahead free throw in the closing seconds of regulation with the game tied at 85.

Williamson, who set his previous high of 30 points last Tuesday, made 12 of 20 field goals and 10 of 14 free throws, as Duke fell to 14-2, losing for the first time since its Nov. 21 loss to Gonzaga.

Though the highly-touted Williamson has recorded a double-double in five of his last six games.

Teammate R.J. Barrett, another highly-touted freshman, finished with 23 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists on 8-of-30 shooting.

But Duke's duo was unable to stop Syracuse in overtime, as the Orange's Tyus Battle finished with 32 points on 12-of-28 shooting. Paschal Chukwu brought down 18 rebounds and scored four of his 10 points in overtime for Syracuse.
