Knicks fall to Lakers, 109-92, despite Kevin Knox's big game

The Knicks overcame a 25-point deficit in the second half thanks to a 28-3 run in the third quarter, but the Lakers pulled away in the final quarter and ran away with a 109-92 Summer League win on Tuesday night.

Kevin Knox scored 29 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and had two assists in a team-high 33 minutes. Knox has impressed during Summer League, scoring 22 points in his first game and 19 in his second before turning in his best performance yet on Tuesday night.

Allonzo Trier had 21 points and Troy Williams put in a well-rounded effort with 15 points, three assists, two rebounds, and two steals.

The Lakers' Josh Hart scored 29 points to go along with six rebounds, while Jeff Ayres made all seven of his shots from the field ahd totaled 17 points.
