Giants running back Saquon Barkley and Jets safety Jamal Adams joined former Giant Odell Beckham Jr. and a number of other NFL players in a video speaking out against police brutality and racial injustice after the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.

The players call for the NFL to take a firmer stance on these issues, asking the league to state that it "condemns racism and the systematic oppression of black people" and that the league admits wrong for "silencing players from peacefully protesting."

"It's been 10 days since George Floyd was brutally murdered," the players begin in the video. "How many times do we need to ask you to listen to your players?"

The video then cuts to all of the players, including Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson and others asking "What if I was George Floyd?"

Shared by all of the players included, the video ends with the players asking the league to state "We, the National Football League, believe black lives matter."

Earlier this week, Barkley also posted a photoshopped picture of himself wearing a jersey reading "I can't breathe."
