Todd Bowles had an awful resume from his four years as head coach of the Jets, but it still might be enough to get him a shot at another job.

The 55-year-old Bowles is expected to draw interest from several teams looking for a new head coach in the next few weeks, according to multiple NFL sources. The Cleveland Browns may interview him during their search, one source said, and the Arizona Cardinals might be interested too if they fire their coach, Steve Wilks.

The Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers also had openings for a head coach as of Monday morning.

Bowles has coached in both the Browns and Cardinals organizations, though his time as the secondary coach in Cleveland was more than a decade ago (2001-04). He was the defensive coordinator in Arizona from 2013-14, right before he was hired to take over the Jets.

There seems to be a feeling around the league that despite Bowles' 24-40 record, his failure to get the Jets to the playoffs, and his three straight seasons of double-digit losses, he was in an unwinnable situation. His supporters point to the lack of a franchise quarterback during his tenure and the overall lack of talent on the roster, especially over the last two years.

One source close to Bowles believes the coach would be interested in pursuing other jobs this year, perhaps even as a defensive coordinator. It's not known how many of those jobs will open up in the coming days.
