With trade speculation dominating the offseason, here's list of Mets who have been rumored in deals, where they rank from most likely to be traded to least likely, and why.

1. OF Juan Lagares

A $9 million salary for an injury-prone outfielder? The Mets would be glad to move him if they sign another center fielder.

2. SS Amed Rosario

Rosario is high on the list only because his potential makes him desirable for a team like the Marlins in a potential J.T. Realmuto deal, and top SS prospect Andres Gimenez isn't far away.

3. OF Brandon Nimmo

Similar to Rosario, Nimmo has made himself desirable, in large part because of his patience at the plate and high on-base percentage.

4. RHP David Peterson

A first-round pick from 2017, Peterson is a finesse lefty with a limited ceiling. Thus, he would be available in the right deal.

5. LHP Steven Matz

The Long Island lefty's injury history means the Mets would move him. But that same injury history probably prevents them from getting enough value in return.

6. RHP Noah Syndergaard

For all the speculation, GM Brodie Van Wagenen is only going to trade him for players that would provide major impact. The Mets would have to get more than just Realmuto for him.

7. RHP Zack Wheeler

Only a year away from free agency means there's almost no way the Mets could get the value they would deem acceptable after Wheeler's brilliant second half last season.

8. 1B Peter Alonso

His right-handed power potential makes him almost untouchable at the moment because that's such a needed commodity for the Mets, especially with Yoenis Cespedes on the shelf.

9. OF Michael Conforto

Despite his slumps, Conforto has shown enough potential for long-term greatness that the Mets would be foolish to deal him.

10. RHP Jacob deGrom

Untouchable. DeGrom was the best pitcher in baseball last season. Enough said.
