Both of New York's football teams took wins in Week 16 and both the Giants and Jets saw recognition in Pro Football Focus' Team of the Week.
Running back Saquon Barkley led the way for the Giants all game long in their overtime win over Redskins, earning him the nod.
Jets safety Marcus Maye made key plays when called upon against the Steelers, landing him the individual recognition.
Here's what PFF said about Barkley's performance:
"This was the big-play, mismatch game the Giants envisioned when Barkley was drafted at No. 2 overall in 2018. He rushed for 189 yards on 22 carries, creating 153 of those yards after contact while also catching all four of his targets for 90 yards and a score. Barkley forced six missed tackles on his 26 touches on the day."
The cherry on top for Barkley was his shiny new Giants record. He surpassed Tiki Barber for the most scrimmage yards in a single game, totalling 279 yards.
"I'm thankful to have that record. Even though my name is on that record, it took a lot of people to help me to do it," Barkley said on Monday.
On the Jets' side of things, Maye's turnover played a role in his appearance on PFF's list:
"Maye also got his hands on the ball twice, first with a nice break from center field to intercept Duck Hodges and then with a pass breakup while in man coverage to save the game late in the fourth quarter. Maye had a few negatives in there, as well, but he came through with big plays in the Jets' win."
While an interception will standout, "saving the game" might've been an understatement for Maye's late pass breakup. Hodges had receiver James Washington in single coverage with only Maye around at the goal line. His pass breakup gave the Jets the win and likely knocked the Steelers out of the playoffs.

The impressive feat drew praise from his secondary partner in Jamal Adams.
"Man, he balled, bro, he balled," Adams said following the game. "I told him today, not even the pick, the best play that he's ever made that I've seen him make was that last one, where he ripped the ball out. That's a phenomenal play."
