Rangers' Tim Gettinger sent back down to Hartford after Saturday's game

Rangers rookie forward Tim Gettinger has been assigned to Hartford of the AHL after making NHL debut on Saturday, general manager Jeff Gorton announced.

Gettinger, who had five hits against Washington on Saturday, has played in 20 AHL games this season, tallying seven goals and four assists.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pounder has ranked first among rookies in the AHL this season in goals and also was tied for second on his team with shots on goal.
