The star of the Knicks Summer League, small forward Kevin Knox has been opening eyes on and off the court.
Knox led the way in Las Vegas for the Knicks, scoring 21.3 points per game in four appearances. That was the fourth-highest scoring in all of summer league. And Knox was the only rookie to eclipse the 20 points per game mark.
Knox has also been getting praise from GM Scott Perry. On ESPN's Get Up, Perry said he had been "pinching himself' and trying to keep in mind that his first round draft pick was still only 18.
Meanwhile, the Kentucky product is also making waves for calling out former Knicks star Carmelo Anthony.
The rookie took a shot at Melo on Instagram, in a video where is playing one on one with former Knick teammate Brandon Jennings and Pistons small forward Stanley Johnson.
"Melo win MVP every year if he played like this during season," Knox said.
