The New York Yankees have scored 32 runs in their previous three games combined, including their two victories over the Red Sox in London.

Their affiliate in the Dominican Summer League topped that in one day.

The DSL Yankees routed the DSL Twins 38-2 on Wednesday. That is not a typo.

The DSL Yankees scored in eight different innings, including nine runs in the third inning, as they improved to 3-1 on the season. All 11 players who batted recorded at least two hits.

First baseman Brayan Jimenez, 20, went 4-for-7 with seven RBIs, while 17-year-old Mauro Bonifacio went 4-for-6 with five RBIs. Shortstop Alex Garcia, 17, also had four hits and three RBIs.

The Yankees totaled 31 hits, drew 12 walks and went 19-for-30 with runners in scoring position. They hit nine doubles, one triple and five home runs.

The DSL Twins had three position players take the mound. Their typical pitching staff combined to allow 27 runs (20 earned) in 5 2/3 innings.

Josue Panacual, 17, threw five innings of two-run ball for the Yankees. Perhaps more remarkable than the 38 runs: 18-year-old Luis Velasquez threw four scoreless innings of relief to record the save.
