The 2020 NFL Draft is one unlike any other in recent history.

To keep in line with social distancing guidelines, the draft was conducted remotely with ESPN's campus in Bristol, Conn. as the hub of the action while commissioner Roger Goodell announced the selections from his basement. The draft's picks were all celebrating with their families at home rather than in-person out in Las Vegas, which would've been the scene of the draft this year.

And now that Thursday's first round has officially concluded, here's a look at some of the unique elements that we may never quite see in an NFL Draft ever again ...

The commissioner's set-up

Instead of walking out on stage to a cascade of boos from thousands of NFL fans, Goodell instead announced all 32 picks from the basement of his home in Bronxville, N.Y. Goodell also interacted with select fans from each team before the picks were made.

Giants select Andrew Thomas

The Giants indeed had their choice of whichever offensive tackle they liked best, and with the No. 4 pick, they selected Georgia's Andrew Thomas, who reacted with his family from home.

Jets select Mekhi Becton

With Thomas and Jedrick Wills off the board, the Jets stayed put at No. 11 and took Louisville's massive tackle Mekhi Becton. The 6-foot-7 Becton shared a moment that he will always remember with his family members.
