If the Jets are interested in a wide receiver, another option just entered the market.
The Ravens released WR Michael Crabtree on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The 31-year-old receiver will have made $8 million from the three-year, $21 million contract he signed with Baltimore before the 2018 season.
Crabtree is coming off a season in which he had career lows in yards (607) and receptions (54) and finished with three touchdowns, but the Ravens tailored their offense to the mobility of rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson, which could explain the drop in production.
The Giants could use some receiver depth behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard and Crabtree would likely come at a bargain price.
Cody Latimer, who is a free agent this offseason, served that role last year but struggled to stay healthy, appearing in just six games.
Crabtree has been relatively healthy his whole career, missing just two games in the last five seasons, which was due to a suspension.
