The Mets (65-77) open up a seven-game homestand with a four-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks (75-69) on Monday night at 7:10 p.m. on SNY.

Who is starting for the Mets?

Jose Quintana will get the ball for his 10th start.

Quintana is coming off another solid outing for New York when he allowed one run on four hits with a walk and four strikeouts in 7.0 innings at Washington last week. The 34-year-old has allowed just one run in his last two starts, with seven hits over 13.0 innings pitched.

The left-hander is looking to finish the season on a high note after he missed the first half due to injury. He has pitched to a 3.00 ERA (3.22 FIP) and a 1.259 WHIP over 54.0 innings, allowing just 19 runs (18 earned) on 47 hits. Quintana has struck out 39 and walked 21 in that span and kept the ball in the yard, allowing just one homer.

The southpaw has made five previous starts against the D-backs, allowing 22 runs over 23.2 innings for an 8.37 ERA.

Who is starting for the Diamondbacks?

Right-hander Zach Davies will start for Arizona, making his 16th start of the season.

Davies is looking to bounce back from a poor outing against Colorado last week in which he was tagged for five runs on six hits and three walks over 3.0 innings with two strikeouts.

The righty has made three starts since coming off the injured list in late August, allowing seven runs on 15 hits and six walks in 14.0 innings for a 4.50 ERA, with opponents producing a .273 average and .783 OPS. Something Buck Showalter will be concerned about -- Davies has hit a batter in each of his last two starts.

The 30-year-old is having a rough go of it in 2023, pitching to a 6.81 ERA (4.54 FIP) with a 1.598 WHIP, surrendering 57 runs (54 earned) on 81 hits over 71.1 innings. He has allowed eight homers and 33 walks while striking out 59 on the season.

Several Mets have a history with Arizona’s starter: Pete Alonso is 0-for-7 with a walk, Omar Narvaez is 0-for-5, Francisco Lindor is 2-for-6 with two homers, Brandon Nimmo is 4-for-8 with two doubles, a triple and homer, and Jeff McNeil is 4-for-9.

The Mets and D-backs continue the series on Tuesday night with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m. on SNY.

Right-hander Jose Butto (0-2, 3.86 ERA), coming off a good start in Washington, gets the ball for New York. He will face righty Ryne Nelson (7-7, 5.30 ERA) for Arizona.
