The MLB Draft wrapped up on Wednesday with Rounds 11 through 40. Here are all the picks the Mets made over the three-day draft...
No. 1198 (40th Round): RHP Camden Lovrich - Trinity Presbyterian H.S. (Ala.)
Mets use their final pick of the draft on a high school pitcher. Righty is listed at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds.
No. 1168 (39th Round): 2B Nick Conti - Eckerd College (Fla.)
Small frame at 5-foot-9, 160 pounds. Hit .298 with two homers, 29 RBI, 12 doubles and 39 runs in 46 games as a senior in Division II.
No. 1138 (38th Round): 1B Casey Slattery - Glendale College (Calif.)
Left-handed JUCO player has big body at 6-4, 240. Hit .325 with eight home runs, 45 RBI and 12 doubles in 44 games this season.
No. 1108 (37th Round): RHP Dilan Lawson - Madison County H.S. (Fla.)
Third straight high-school selection for the Mets late in the draft. Right-hander is listed at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds.
No. 1078 (36th Round): RF Tucker Flint - Bishop Hendricken H.S. (R.I.)
Left-handed high school senior who is listed at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds.
No. 1048 (35th Round): CF Daniel Maldonado - Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy (Puerto Rico)
Listed at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds, Maldonado doesn't turn 18 until next month, so he has time to grow into his frame.
No. 1018 (34th Round): OF Ryan Shinn - Kentucky
Showed improved power as a senior this season, belting 13 home runs with 17 doubles, 31 RBI and a .568 slugging percentage in 55 games. Projects as a left fielder, per MLB.
No. 988 (33rd Round): OF Cole Kleszcz - Azusa Pacific (Calif.)
Second straight round the Mets took a guy named Cole. Hit .374 with 27 homers and 63 RBI in Division II. Fourth-year junior who turns 22 this month.
No. 958 (32nd Round): RHP Cole Gordon - Mississippi State
A fifth-year senior who turns 24 years old in October. Six-foot-five, 244-pound closer had 11 saves this season with 61 strikeouts in 38.2 innings.
No. 928 (31st Round): LHP Andrew Edwards - New Mexico State
Fourth-year senior who's listed at 6-foot-2. Turned 22 years old last month.
No. 898 (30th Round): RHP Justin Lasko - UMass Amherst
In 88.1 innings this season, Lasko had a 3.67 ERA with 82 strikeouts across 14 starts. Had four complete games and two shutouts.
No. 868 (29th Round): CF LT Struble - Felician University (N.J.)
Division II player slashed .361/.468/.500 in 53 games this season and stole 42 basses. Added four homers, 19 RBI and 62 runs.
No. 838 (28th Round): C Jake Ortega - CSU Bakersfield
Lefty-hitting catcher who hit .326 with one homer, 25 RBI, 31 runs and 13 steals on 13 attempts.
No. 808 (27th Round): LHP Dalton Fowler - Northwest Mississippi CC
The 19-year-old southpaw is in junior college but was ranked No. 150 in this draft class by MLB. Backed out of a commitment to Mississippi. Still growing into 6-foot-5 frame, so velocity could increase from current 90-93 miles-per-hour range.
No. 778 (26th Round): LHP Mitchell Senger - Stetson
Gave up a ton of runs as a fourth-year junior, pitching to a whopping 14.68 ERA in 19 innings, making nine of his 13 appearances out of the bullpen. Had 25 strikeouts vs. 30 walks. But he's 6-foot-7, 240 pounds, so he seemingly has the physical tools. Same program which produced Jacob deGrom.
No. 748 (25th Round): RHP Joseph Charles - TNXL Academy (Fla.)
Another ranked draft prospect who fell and has a commitment to North Carolina. The high school senior was ranked No. 181 in this draft class by MLB. He touches 96-97 miles per hour on his fastball consistently, which makes him an attractive selection all on its own. Command issues could play into Charles eventually becoming a reliever.
No. 718 (24th Round): LHP Hunter Barco - The Bolles School (Fla.)
Probably the most intriguing selection the Mets have made on Day 3 of the draft, as Barco was ranked by MLB as the No. 34 prospect in this draft. The 6-foot-4 high school senior touches 94 miles per hour and could be a fallback option if the Mets aren't able to sign third-round pick Matthew Allan, who could command at least $3 million. Barco, though, is committed to Florida, and he could very well be headed to Gainsville.
No. 688 (23rd Round): RHP Nick MacDonald - FIU
Fourth-year junior who had a 3.91 ERA with 68 strikeouts in 76 innings this season for Florida International.
No. 658 (22nd Round): RHP Jace Beck - Blanchard H.S. (Okla.)
A high-school senior who will turn 19 years old this month. He's listed at 6-foot-9, 200 pounds.
No. 628 (21st Round): SS Branden Fryman - Samford (Ala.)

No. 598 (20th Round): C Matt O'Neill - Penn
Righty hitting catcher who's a fourth-year senior. Hit .405 with five homers, 40 RBI, 15 doubles, 41 runs and 40 walks in 40 games for the Quakers.
No. 568 (19th Round): RHP Hunter Parsons - Maryland
Fourth-year senior who went 10-3 with a 3.45 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 104.1 innings this season.
No. 538 (18th Round): CF Tanner Murphy - North Florida
Fourth-year junior who hit .288 with six homers, 37 RBI, 14 doubles, 45 runs and 19 steals in 57 games this season.
No. 508 (17th Round): RHP Dan Goggin - James Madison
Fourth-year senior who's about to turn 22 years old. Reliever who had a 6.20 ERA this season in 19 appearances; had 27 strikeouts in 24.2 innings.
No. 478 (16th Round): C Nic Gaddis - Jacksonville State
Fourth-year senior who turns 23 in October and is listed at 5-11, 171 pounds. Hit .329 with 14 homers and 44 RBI this season. Threw out seven of 34 base-stealers.
No. 448 (15th Round): RHP Mitch Ragan - Creighton
Fourth-year senior who stands 6-foot-3. Went 8-3 with a 4.17 ERA and 95 strikeouts in 99.1 innings this season for the Bluejays.
No. 418 (14th Round): CF Kennie Taylor - Duke
A 5-11, 170-pound fourth-year senior who turns 23 years old in October. Hit .324 with a .900 OPS in 58 games this season. Had six homers, 19 doubles, five triples, 39 RBI, 50 runs and 10 steals.
No. 388 (13th Round): CF Blaine McIntosh - Sycamore H.S. (Tenn.)
A high school senior who's 6-foot-4 with speed. Lefty is considered an "explosive" outfielder by MLB.com. Has a commitment to Vanderbilt.
No. 358 (12th Round): OF Antoine Duplantis - LSU
Last weekend, Duplantis broke the LSU career hits record with his 354th hit. Hitting .319 with 11 homers and 64 RBI in 64 games this season for the Tigers, who play Florida State this weekend in the Super Regionals.
No. 328 (11th Round): LHP Jordan Martinson - Dallas Baptist
In 16 starts this season, the fourth-year senior had 115 strikeouts and 2.61 ERA in 100 innings to go along with an 8-4 record.
Day 2 Selections
No. 298 (10th Round): RF Scott Ota - UIC (Illinois Chicago)
The Mets finished up Day 2 of the MLB Draft with another college bat. A big season from Ota, a left-handed hitter, helped UIC reach the NCAA Tournament. He hit .355 with 19 homers and 62 RBI, adding 14 doubles and 53 runs. After starting the draft with three high-schoolers, the Mets have selected seven straight four-year college seniors.
No. 268 (Ninth Round): 1B Joe Genord - South Florida
The 22-year-old senior was named All-AAC first team at first base. He hit .333 with 13 homers and 52 RBI this season with 14 doubles, 33 walks and 33 strikeouts.
No. 238 (Eighth Round): LHP Connor Wollersheim - Kent State
The Mets grab their first left-handed pitcher of the draft in Wollersheim, a 22-year-old senior who stands at 6-foot-2. He had a 4.20 ERA in 15 starts this season, striking out 97 batters in 83.2 innings.
No. 208 (Seventh Round): 2B Luke Ritter - Wichita State
Could be an upside bat here for the Mets. At one point this season Ritter had a 44-game on-base streak for the Shockers. He hit .333 with a .458 on-base percentage and .545 slugging percentage. He had nine homers, 40 RBI, 16 doubles and 47 runs along with 12 steals.
No. 178 (Sixth Round): CF Zach Ashford - Fresno State
The Mets grab their second center fielder in three rounds with Ashford, a 22-year-old listed at 5-10, 180 pounds. In 54 games this season, the left-handed hitter has a .381 average, four homers, 21 RBI, 67 runs and 40 walks against 22 strikeouts. He also had 10 steals.
No. 148 (Fifth Round): RHP Nathan Jones - Northwestern State (LA)
With the Mets looking to sign Allan, they took another college senior in Jones with their fifth-round pick. In his senior season, Jones pitched to the tune of a 2.78 ERA with 80 strikeouts and only 25 walks over 81 innings (14 starts) of work.
No. 118 (Fourth Round): CF Jake Mangum - Mississippi State
The Mets returned to position players in the fourth round, going with the switch-hitting Mangum. A four-year player for the Bulldogs, Mangum is MLB Pipeline's 171th-best player.
He is a stud at the plate, owning a career .360 average with 71 doubles, 10 triples and 126 RBI. At 6-foot-1, 179 pounds, Mangum has some room to potentially grow into a more powerful hitter. But his skillset, that involves speed and solid defense as well, makes for a solid prospect.
No. 89 (Third Round): RHP Matthew Allan - Seminole HS (FL)
The Mets went with another pitcher in Allan, and ESPN's Keith Law definitely approves. This was his tweet...
The @Mets just took my #1 player available for day two, prep right-hander Matt Allan, a definite first-round talent and the best prep arm available
- keithlaw (@keithlaw) June 4, 2019
This could be an absolute steal for the Mets if they're able to sign him. Allan has a very strong commitment to Florida, but has reportedly said he will sign if offered $4 million. The Mets wouldn't have wasted a draft choice on him if they didn't think they'd be able to sign him, so it will be intriguing to see if they do.
Allan possesses the prototypical pitchers frame at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, and has the stuff to go with it. He was ranked the 13th-best prospect in the Draft by MLB Pipeline.
Day 1 Selections
No. 53 (Second Round): RHP Josh Wolf - St. Thomas HS (TX)
Wolf may be only 6-foot-2 and 165 pounds, but his aresenal on the mound doesn't reflect that. His fastball has touched 97 mph and with a devastating 12-6 curveball, slider, and changeup as well. He committed to Texas A&M, but a second-round selection could change his mind.
No. 12 (First Round): 3B Brett Baty - Lake Travis HS (TX)
One of the best, pure lefty hitters in this Draft, the Mets went with the 19-year-old at No. 12 overall. Scouts told John Harper, "he's about as dynamic a hitter as I can remember seeing when you consider his combination of power and pure hitting ability."
Tommy Tanous, the Mets VP of international and amateur scouting, explained to the media in a conference call that the Mets liked his ability at the plate as well.
"This is a player we look for offensively," he said. "Someone who can control the zone and impact the baseball. So there'a a lot to like with him over the last few years. ... He was the most advanced high school hitter on the board."
