The Knicks are one of several teams "trying to get deals done" to trade with the Sacramento Kings for the fourth pick to tentatively select Jaden Ivey, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley had reported that the Knicks are open to moving up in the draft, and members of the organization have dug to see which teams have interest in Ivey.
The Knicks do have competition though, as Wojnarowski also said the Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards, and even "teams outside the lottery" have been in contract with the Kings.
The Knicks know that Ivey will not fall to them at 11, and probably won't even get past four, so they will likely have to trade up from the 11th pick, or move young players like Immanuel Quickley, Quentin Grimes, Obi Toppin, and Cam Reddish, and/or future firsts.
