Knicks forward Julius Randle set a new season-high in rebounds on Saturday night with a whopping 18 boards, as New York as a team outrebounded the Pacers 57-34 enroute to a 92-85 win in Indiana.

Prior to Saturday night, Randle's season high for rebounds was 16 -- ironically enough, that's how many points he put up in the game.

"Just go get it," Randle said on his mindset when going for rebounds. "Typically on most nights I'm one of the biggest, strongest, fastest dudes out there, so it's one of my advantages, being able to use my quickness and athleticism to just go get rebounds."

"When we get teams in a halfcourt offense, our halfcourt defense is pretty good, we limit them to just one shot. We give ourselves a really good chance at rebounding, so just try to get on the glass."

Randle leads the Knicks this season in rebounding with 9.3 per game. The Knicks are the sixth best team in the league this year in rebounding, grabbing 46.1 per game.

"It was a great effort...The rebounding, we got some stops, so 57-34 I think on the glass, maybe our best rebounding effort of the year," head coach Mike Miller said after the game. "Sometimes our first shot defense is pretty good, but we don't come up with the ball, whether it be a loose ball, a long rebound, short rebound, and we came up with a lot of those tonight and it made a huge difference."
