The Jets continue to shock the NFL after their 27-10 win in Week 6 against the Packers on the road.

But it was a tweet from wideout Elijah Moore hours after the game that had fans wondering if not all is good in the Jets locker room.

“If I say what I really wanna say…I’ll be the selfish guy,” Moore tweeted Sunday night in response to not getting a target against the Packers. “We winning, grateful, huge blessing. All I ever wanted, bitter sweet for me, but I’ll be solid. So I’ll just stay quiet. Just know I don’t understand either."

Clearly Moore has been down on his usage in the Jets offense this season, the 22-year-old Florida native has caught just 16 passes for 203 yards and zero touchdowns in six games, but coach Robert Saleh chalks it up to the young wideout being a competitive person.

“He’s a competitive young man…he wants to contribute and sometimes we think our contributions are from productivity only when your contributions can come from a variety of different things,” Saleh said Monday. "There’s a million ways to contribute to this football team."

Saleh revealed that has had a conversation with the second-year Jet and says Moore will be fine. Saleh also believes that Moore’s public tweets don’t come with bad intentions.

"I got no problem with Elijah. He’s one of our high-character individuals," he said. "Love him to death and eventually the production part of it that he’s hoping for will come. Just continue to work.”

Moore isn’t the only offensive player to not produce at the rate they’d likely want. Zach Wilson threw for just 110 yards as the team continued to run the ball to great effect against the Packers. But the results don’t lie, the Jets are 4-2 and have matched last season’s win total.

And as the winning continues, some inside the locker room believe the lack of touches won’t be a problem.

“We have a bunch of competitors on this team,” Braxton Berrios said Monday. “Everyone wants to help produce. As long as we’re winning, everyone is going to be alright.”
