If you haven't heard it already, Jets RB Le'Veon Bell wants to say it again.
He's sorry you picked him in your fantasy drafts last season.
"I don't regret sitting out last year, but the only thing is I wish I could've told fantasy owners some type of way like, 'I'm not playing this year,' so they wouldn't pick me," Bell said. "That's really the only thing I apologized for. ...A lot of people felt like they wasted their money and that's what I apologized for. So I'm sorry again."
Jets fans won't care if they picked Bell last season if he can produce the way he's expected to in 2019. Bell is extra confident that he'll be coming back just as he left -- one of the most versatile, elite running backs in the NFL that can rip apart defenses.
One of the main reasons is because of what Bell believes new head coach Adam Gase's offense will allow him to do. Calling him a "mastermind," the 26-year-old back has already seen how Gase's play-calling can give him the chance to use his strengths on the gridiron.

"He's unbelievable," Bell said about Gase. "I literally watch him in practice and the way he calls plays and things like that he's very intelligent of calling plays and putting guys in the right situation."
And for those who still don't think Bell is in "football shape" or will falter when the season starts, he made sure to reiterate that he will be ready come Week 1.
"I think I'll still be able to do what I'm able to do," Bell said. "I mean, I go out and practice the same way I was practicing 2-3 years ago. It feels the same -- actually it feels slower now because I think I understand the game better. So I think once I actually get in the game, yeah, the first series or two when I get in there might feel a little different because the game is going to be faster. But I'll adjust and get right to it."
If Bell owns up to that claim, then maybe fantasy owners can feel a little more confident this time around and choose him. Where does he think he should go? Where do you think?
"First," he said smiling.
"I'm excited. I think as long as this offense just does what this offense can do -- I feel like anyone can be the number one fantasy guy. We have so much talent."
