Jeff McNeil anticipates he will be healthy enough to make the Mets roster for the NLCS.

McNeil has not appeared in a game since Sept. 6 when he sustained a fractured wrist. However, the 32-year-old took infield and batting practice before Game 4 of the NLDS against the Philadelphia Phillies.

And after the Mets clinched the series with a 4-1 win, McNeil is set to make his way to the Arizona Fall League to play back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday.

The NLCS is set to begin with the Mets on the road in either Los Angeles or San Diego on Sunday.

New York got special permission from MLB for McNeil to play in the rehab games in Arizona as the team's training facilities in Port St. Lucie, Fla. are threatened by Hurricane Milton.

"I feel good," McNeil told reporters before Game 2 of the NLDS on Sunday. "Got cleared to do some baseball activities and the wrist is feeling pretty good.

"I don’t have any pain [in my wrist] right now, it’s more just getting the range of motion back and that’s all feeling really good. We’re at the point where I’ve been doing baseball activities, been swinging the bat the last week or so, been taking ground balls, running. It’s just getting back into that baseball shape and kinda taking it day-by-day."

McNeil had a rough start to the season, batting .216 with a .591 OPS in his first 88 games. But the veteran turned around his year behind a solid July and August to slash .289/.376/.547 for a .923 OPS over his final 41 games before the injury.

Overall, in 129 games this season, McNeil had 26 doubles, 12 home runs and 44 RBI while batting .238 with a .692 OPS (97 OPS and 97wRC+).
