Due to the coronavirus pandemic, new Giants top cornerback James Bradberry hasn't been able to make his way up north from Charlotte to settle into his new tri-state area home.

Luckily for him, though, there's another Giant in the Charlotte area: QB Daniel Jones.

During an Instagram Live with the Giants' Madelyn Burke, Bradberry spoke about how he's linked up with Jones -- at a safe distance of course -- to talk about the Giants and get to know one another. Jones has been staying back home with his family.

"I didn't realize he's that tall," Bradberry said chuckling. "He's laid back, he's a cool guy.

"We hung out for a little minute, but I see him at the park getting his throws in."

Jones might have been with the Giants for a whole year already, but both he and Bradberry are on the same level when it comes to knowing how the coaches work. Head coach Joe Judge and his staff are mostly brand new to Jones, so both of these players had their first impression of them over video conference.

That's the new norm in the NFL, as teams have had to use video conferencing to get offseason work in, especially when it comes to learning new playbooks. As Bradberry said, he is in meetings four days a week, but admits it's been a "weird" feeling having to use it to prepare for the year.

"It's been weird having to communicate with your teammates through webcam," he said. "We're going to get the job done no matter what."

Other than his meetings, Bradberry has been playing "a lot of Call of Duty now" to pass the time. He also talked about getting his No. 24 from Julian Love.

"I talked with Julian Love because I had to get my number," Bradberry said.

"There was a negotiation. We came up with a deal that benefited both parties. I'm going to keep that between me and him. It wasn't nothing crazy, but it was a negotiation."

With the number set and Bradberry looking forward to facing receivers like Amari Cooper, Alshon Jeffery and Terry McLaurin as he said, the newcomer is ready to finally get to New York to start this next chapter in his NFL career.

"You're going to get my all," Bradberry said to Giants fans before signing off.
