RHP Jacob deGrom (3-5, 3.98 ERA), who didn't seem to be himself last time out against the Marlins, giving up a season-high seven runs (six earned) on nine hits over five innings of work. ... The reigning Cy Young winner's 11.6 K/9 ratio ranks third best in the National League.


Who is starting for the Nationals?

RHP Max Scherzer (2-5, 3.72 ERA), who took his fifth loss of the season his last time out (he was tagged with just seven losses in all of 2018). ... Scherzer allowed three runs over six innings of work against the Cubs in his last outing on May 17th. ... The Nats have lost eight of Scherzer's 10 starts this season, including his Opening Day start against the Mets.
