Not that the move comes as much of a surprise, but Giants kicker Aldrick Rosas officially signed his second-round RFA tender on Wednesday, bringing him back for another year with Big Blue.

Following the 2019 season, Rosas became a restricted free agent. The Giants placed a second-round tender on him, costing roughly $3.3 million, meaning if any other team had signed the kicker away, the Giants would have received a second-round pick should they have chosen not to match.

Rosas, a 25-year-old who played his college football at Southern Oregon, has been the Giants kicker for the last three seasons. Overall, he's connected on 62-75 career field goal attempts (82.7 percent), while knocking through 91.5 percent of his extra-point attempts.

A Pro Bowl selection in 2018, Rosas had his worst year, statistically, with Big Blue in 2019. He converted a career-low 70.6 percent of his field goal attempts and was just 1-5 from 40-plus yards -- his longest made kick of the season good from just 45 yards out.

Currently, Rosas is the only kicker on the Giants' roster, though there's always a chance another kicker could be brought in as competition during training camp.
