He ends his rookie season with 23 receptions for 373 yards and no touchdowns in 17 games.
Jan. 7, 5:03 p.m.
Tyrod Taylor is questionable to return with a thumb injury, the Giants announced in the first quarter of Week 18 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Tommy DeVito replaced Taylor as New York's quarterback.
The Giants led 3-0 entering the second quarter.
Taylor was 4-of-6 passing for 72 yards, plus seven rushing yards on one carry.

Jan. 5, 4:40 p.m.
A pair of Giants right tackles, Evan Neal and Tyre Phillips, both underwent surgery this week, the team announced on Friday
Neal had a procedure after sustaining a small fracture in his ankle on Tuesday by Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte, North Carolina. Neal originally sustained the ankle in early November at Las Vegas and was unable to return to action, limiting the former first-round draft pick to just seven games in his second NFL season.
Phillips, who tore his quadriceps in Big Blue’s Week 17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday, underwent an operation on Tuesday in New York City with Dr. Scott Rodeo.
For the season finale in New England on Sunday, the Giants will be without safety Jason Pinnock who was ruled out Friday by head coach Brian Daboll with a toe injury. Daboll added that safety Dane Belton (personal) had returned to practice and could play in Pinnock’s place.
Rookie cornerback Deonte Banks (shoulder) is being listed as doubtful, but after being a limited participant in this week's practice.
Center John Michael Schmitz (shin) is now questionable and there are some signs that he will be active.
Jan. 1, 11:48 a.m.
Head coach Brian Daboll said Monday that offensive tackle Tyre Phillips suffered a torn quad against the Los Angeles Rams and will have surgery.
Phillips, 26, was carted off the field early in the fourth quarter on Sunday during the team's 26-25 loss. He suffered a knee injury earlier in the game and was forced to the blue medical tent, but was able to return before reinjuring himself later in the game.
The 6-foot-5 lineman was originally a third-round pick out of Mississippi State by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2020 NFL Draft. Phillips played in 22 games (13 starts) over two seasons with the Ravens and then signed with the Giants on Sept. 1, 2022. He played 12 games (five starts) with Big Blue last season, and was then released by the team in August before the start of the 2023 season.
Phillips signed to the Eagles practice squad on Sept. 4, was then signed to the Giants active roster on Oct. 17, and has played 10 games (nine starts) this year. He is set to be a free agent this offseason.
Dec. 31, 2:00 p.m.
Giants cornerback Jason Pinnock has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams due to a foot injury.
LA running back Kyren Williams appeared to land on Pinnock's ankle awkwardly on a play in the first quarter, and the veteran limped his way to the locker room.
Pinnock was initially ruled as questionable, before being downgraded to out midway through the second quarter.
Offensive lineman Tyre Phillips was also carted off early on in the fourth quarter.
Phillips suffered an injury earlier in the game and was forced to the blue medical tent, but was able to return before reinjuring himself later in the game.
Dec. 31, 11:30 a.m.
Giants defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence is officially active for Sunday's Week 17 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
Lawrence was limited at practice throughout the week due to a hamstring issue, but he appears ready to roll against the high-flying rams offense.
Cornerback Deonte Banks, on the other hand, has been ruled out due to a shoulder injury he suffered late in that Monday night matchup with the Eagles.
The rookie has played well all year, limiting opponents top receivers week in and week out, but Big Blue will have the tall task of facing LA's star receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nakua without him.
The other inactives for this week include WR Parris Campbell, S Gervarrius Owens, OLB Benton Whitley, C Sean Harlow, WR Dennis Houston, and DT Timmy Horne.
Dec. 29, 2:40 p.m.
Giants cornerback Deonte Banks (shoulder) and wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (quad) are questionable for Week 17 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Tight end Lawrence Cager (groin) is doubtful.
Banks, the Giants' first-round pick at No. 24 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, has totaled 64 tackles (two for loss) and 11 pass breakups (two interceptions) while starting all 15 games this season.
Robinson, a second-year pro, has caught 49 passes for 385 yards (7.9 average) and one touchdown in 13 games (seven starts).
Cager, a member of the practice squad and active roster this year, has seen 11 games and made four receptions for 36 yards (9.0 average) and one touchdown.
Dec. 28, 5:10 p.m.
Two key members of the Giants' defense appear to be banged up heading into the team's Week 17 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.
Rookie cornerback Deonte Banks and star defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence were able to return to Thursday's practice, but they did so in limited fashion.
Banks missed Wednesday's practice after leaving last week's game against the Eagles due to a shoulder injury, but he was able to get back out there for individual drills this afternoon.
Lawrence returned to his usual spot in the middle of Big Blue's defense Monday night, but it appears he may still be a bit hindered by his hamstring injury this week.
Dec. 25, 3:12 p.m.
The Giants defense got a boost as defensive linemen Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) and A’Shawn Robinson (back) are expected to play Monday at the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins, who was a late addition to the injury report on Sunday with an illness, is also active and expected to continue. Running back Gary Brightwell (hamstring), who was listed as questionable, is also active.
Big Blue listed wide receiver Parris Campbell, safety Gervarrius Owens, outside linebackers Boogie Basham and Benton Whitley, center Sean Harlow, tight end Lawrence Cager and nose tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches as inactive against the Eagles.
Dec. 24, 12:48 p.m.
The Giants added wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins to the team's final injury report for Week 16's game at the Philadelphia Eagles.
Hodgins is questionable with an illness.
He joins running back Gary Brightwell (hamstring), tight end Lawrence Cager (groin) and defensive linemen Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) and A'Shawn Robinson (back) among the questionable Giants.
Right tackle Evan Neal (ankle) and defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches (knee) were already ruled out for Monday's 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
Dec. 23, 3:40 p.m.
Despite being considered questionable for Monday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, DL Dexter Lawrence said he expects to play after logging his first practice of the week on Saturday.
Lawrence had been sidelined all week with a hamstring injury he sustained against the New Orleans Saints and his status for Monday was up in the air. While it’s encouraging the 26-year-old practiced in some capacity this week and aired his desire to play, it won’t be certain until before game time.
RB Gary Brightwell (hamstring), TE Lawrence Cager (groin) and DL A’Shawn Robinson (back) are also considered questionable for Big Blue’s division battle with the Eagles.
Meanwhile, T Evan Neal (ankle) and DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches (knee) have been ruled out for the contest.
Dec. 21, 1:09 p.m.
The Giants have placed kicker Randy Bullock on season-ending IR.
Bullock left last Sunday's loss to the Saints early after injuring his hamstring, with punter Jamie Gillan filling in.
With Bullock now out for the season, Cade York will become the starting kicker.
Bullock is the second Giants kicker to be lost for the season, joining Graham Gano.
Gano's season ended on Nov. 4 due to a left knee injury that required surgery.
Dec. 17, 11:30 a.m.
Darren Waller is officially active as he makes his return to the Giants' lineup for Sunday's road contest against the New Orleans Saints.
The star tight end was listed as questionable heading into the matchup after being activated off IR Saturday, but it appears his hamstring is ready to go.
Prior to the injury, Waller had gotten off to a bit of a disappointing start to his time with the Giants, hauling in just 36 receptions for 384 yards and a touchdown through eight games.
Getting him back out there will certainly be a nice boost for undrafted rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito, though, as he looks to try to push New York's winning streak to four games.
Additionally, left guard Justin Pugh is active and ready to go for this afternoon's contest after being listed as questionable heading in with a calf injury.
Dec. 16, 11:45 p.m.
Darren Waller, who was listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury, is expected to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Waller has not played since Oct. 29 and he was activated off the injured reserve earlier on Saturday. The TE has 36 receptions for 384 yards and a touchdown in eight games this season.
The 31-year-old said he had "no issues" with his hamstring after practicing this week and should help provide a spark for Big Blue's offense for the remainder of the season.
Dec. 16, 4:25 p.m.
Giants tight end Darren Waller was trending upward to play this Sunday against the Saints and it looks like he's ready.
According to multiple reports, Waller will be activated off of injured reserve by the Giants on Saturday and be on the roster for their Week 15 matchup against New Orleans.
Waller practiced and took team reps this week and said he had "no issues" with the hamstring injury that has put him on the shelf for weeks. At 5-8, the Giants are just one game out of a potential Wild Card spot.
Dec. 15, 3:42 p.m.
Darren Waller had "no issues" with his hamstring this week at practice and said he was even able to run the full route tree. The veteran tight end thought it all went well and fully expects to play on Sunday in New Orleans, but with a limited workload.
If the Giants activate Waller from IR prior to Sunday's game -- they have until 4 p.m. on Saturday to do so -- it will be his first game action since Oct. 29 against the Jets. He is officially listed as questionable.
The 31-year-old has 36 receptions for 384 yards and a touchdown in eight games this season.
Evan Neal (ankle) was officially listed as doubtful while DL Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) and OL Justin Pugh (calf) also appeared on the injury report and listed as questionable for Sunday.
Lawrence and Pugh were both limited participants in Friday's practice along with WR Wan'Dale Robinson (quad) and LB Cam Brown (hamstring), although neither Robinson nor Brown were given a status for Sunday.
Dec. 15, 11:36 a.m.
Even Neal (ankle) is expected to be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Neal was listed as limited in practice on Wednesday, which was a projection since practice was a walkthrough.
The former first-round pick has missed the last four games with his injury.
Dec. 14, 12:25 p.m.
After being placed on IR with a hamstring injury suffered in October, the Giants designated Darren Waller to return from injured reserve on Thursday.
The tight end will begin practicing with the hope of playing Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
“Just a matter of them opening up the window and I’ll be at practice,” Waller told reporters after Wednesday's practice. “So whenever that is, I’ll be out there.”
Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters Wednesday that Waller was progressing and that he's "getting closer." The team will need to activate Waller by Saturday afternoon for him to be eligible to play Sunday.
In eight games this season, Waller has 36 receptions for 384 yards and one touchdown.
Head coach Brian Daboll told reporters on Wednesday that everyone currently on the roster will do "everything today." When asked to clarify, Daboll said that Wednesday's practice was more of a walkthrough.
About the availability of tight end Darren Waller (hamstring), Daboll said "We'll see where we're at here, making progress. Getting closer."
Waller has been dealing with his hamstring injury since October, and has played in just eight games this season.
When asked if there's a "strong desire" to get both players back on the field, Daboll said, "Yeah, whenever they're ready to go, then we'll have a plan for them."
Dec. 11, 6:46 p.m.
Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) is active for the Giants' Monday Night Football game against the Green Bay Packers. Lawrence last played Nov. 19, a 31-19 win at the Washington Commanders.
Wide receiver Parris Campbell (knee), who played in the Giants' last game, a 10-7 win over the New England Patriots Nov. 26, is among five inactive players for New York. The others are running back Jashaun Corbin, right tackle Evan Neal (ankle) outside linebacker Boogie Basham and safety Gervarrius Owens.
Dec. 9, 12:20 p.m.
There are positive indications that defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence will play Monday night against the Green Bay Packers after he missed Big Blue’s win over New England before the bye a fortnight ago.
Lawrence (hamstring) again practiced – for the third-straight day – on Saturday and head coach Brian Daboll is “hopeful” about him playing, adding the standout DT snuck in some team reps at Friday’s session.
"He did some individual stuff yesterday and then he did team periods, which was a good thing to see," Daboll said. "He’ll do the same thing [Saturday] and hopefully he’ll be ready to go in a couple days here. That would be the plan."
New York will list Lawrence as questionable, as they will with fellow defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson (hamstring) – who practiced again Saturday, and inside linebacker Isaiah Simmons.
Tight end Daniel Bellinger (illness) missed his second-straight practice on Saturday and will be questionable for Monday.
Right tackle Evan Neal (ankle) will miss his fourth straight game as he has been ruled out by Daboll.
Dec. 6, 4:53 p.m.
Darren Waller will not come off of injured reserve ahead of Monday night’s game against Green Bay, but the tight end is optimistic that he will be able to return for the Giants’ Week 15 game in New Orleans.
Waller is eligible to come off IR now after missing five straight games with a hamstring injury. In eight games this season, his first in New York, the tight end has 36 catches for 384 yards and one touchdown.
There was a less optimistic tone around right tackle Evan Neal (ankle) returning to practice this week and it appears he will miss his fourth straight game, as he told reporters that he isn’t sure how close he is to getting back.
“Whenever that day gets here, that's when it gets here," Neal told reporters. "Hell yeah I’m gonna go back out there this season, but I'm just gonna see where I'm at, see how I progress and move forward from there."
Neal added that while he still has pain in his ankle, “It’s football.”
“I mean sometimes you’ve got to play through pain,” the second-year tackle said. “But I do want to make sure whenever I do go back out on the field, I’ll be ready. I’ll definitely have bullets in my gun to shoot with because anybody would never want to go into a war without any bullets in their gun, and that’s where I’m at.”
Head coach Brian Daboll did say he was “hopeful” that defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) will be on the practice field Friday. Lawrence was held out for the second straight day on Wednesday but there was some optimism on that front.
Dec. 5, 1:25 p.m.
Coming out of the bye, the Giants will get quarterback Tyrod Taylor back from injured reserve but are still waiting on three other players.
Head coach Brian Daboll said defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) and right tackle Evan Neal (ankle) will not practice on Tuesday.
Daboll was optimistic that Lawrence could return to practice later this week ahead of Monday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Darren Waller (hamstring) is eligible to return from IR this week and is “making progress,” Daboll said, but it is more likely than not that the tight end will not return to practice this week but he did not want to rule it out.
Dec. 4, 9:54 a.m.
Tyrod Taylor's practice window will be opened this week, reports Ian Rapaport of NFL.com.
Taylor, who has been out since injuring his ribs against the Jets in Week 8, could be an option to replace Tommy DeVito as the starting quarterback.
The Giants, 4-8, are coming off their bye. They face the Packers in Week 14.
Nov. 26, 11:30 a.m.
The Giants will be without a big piece in the middle of their defense Sunday afternoon against the Patriots.
After missing practice all week due to a lingering hamstring issue, star defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence has been listed among those inactive for this afternoon's contest.
Seventh-round pick Jordan Riley is active this week and expected to take on more of a role in the All Pro DT's absence.
Wide receiver Darius Slayton surprisingly will also be active, despite being listed as doubtful entering the matchup due to a neck injury.
The rest of Big Blue's inactives for this week include; running back Jashaun Corbin, safety Gervarrius Owens, linebacker Boogie Basham, and offensive lineman Evan Neal.
Nov. 24, 12:45 p.m.
Initially considered unable to practice on Friday according to head coach Brian Daboll, wide receiver Darius Slayton (neck) felt better and was on the field practicing after being a limited participant on Thursday.
However, defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) did not practice as he continues to be sidelined. The 26-year-old did not practice at all this week.
Daboll said both players will be game-time decisions on Sunday.
Nov. 23, 2:45 p.m.
Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) and offensive tackle Evan Neal (ankle) did not practice Thursday, the Giants' Thanksgiving injury report revealed ahead of Week 12's 1 p.m. game against the Patriots.
Wide receiver Darius Slayton (neck), defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson (back), linebacker Bobby Okereke (hip/rib) and defensive back Tre Hawkins (shoulder) were limited.
Running backs Saquon Barkley (not injury related, rest) and Eric Gray (ankle); wide receiver Sterling Shepard (hip); offensive linemen John Michael Schmitz (finger), Andrew Thomas (knee) and Tyre Phillips (illness); and defensive backs Adoree' Jackson (concussion) and Bobby McCain (illness) were full participants.
Nov. 22, 12:35 p.m.
Head coach Brian Daboll provided injury updates for a slew of his players before Wednesday's practice including cornerback Adoree' Jackson who is "making strides" and will be back on the practice field in a non-contact way as he remains in concussion protocol.
As for those who will not be practicing, wide receiver Darius Slayton (neck), running back Saquon Barkley (rest), offensive tackle Evan Neal (knee), linebacker Bobby Okereke (hip/ribs) and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) will not be on the field.
Daboll said that Slayton's injury is not considered long-term and that he still has a chance to play on Sunday. He also mentioned that the team opened running back Eric Gray's 21-day window to be activated from the IR on Wednesday. The rookie hasn't played since Week 7 with a calf injury.
Finally, quarterback Daniel Jones underwent what the team called "successful" surgery to repair his ACL Wednesday morning at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Nov. 18, 12:45 p.m.
The Giants added Bobby McCain to the injury report on Saturday, listing the safety as questionable for Sunday’s game at the Washington Commanders due to an illness.
However, McCain like offensive tackle Evan Neal and cornerback Adoree' Jackson (who are both listed as out) will not travel with the team to Washington, so it would seem to be highly unlikely he will feature in the Week 11 matchup against one of his former teams.
Nov. 17, 3:54 p.m.
The Giants will be without Adoree' Jackson and Evan Neal when they face the Commanders on Sunday in Washington, D.C.
Jalin Hyatt and Kayvon Thibodeaux -- who are both looking to return after suffering concussions -- practiced on Friday and are no longer on the injury report.
Andrew Thomas, who is dealing with a knee injury, is listed as questionable.
