The Mets have reshaped their roster over the last year and change, saying goodbye to some familiar faces (some beloved, some not) in the process. Every week, we'll take a look at how some of those former Mets are performing with their new teams...

Jarred Kelenic, Mariners (minors)

As Edwin Diaz continues to falter in high-leverage situations, the trade that brought himself and Robinson Canó to Flushing draws increased ire. Kelenic was one of the main prospects included in the deal and got out to a scalding start with Class A West Virginia.

His promotion since to High-A has been met with success through a small sample size (seven games). The 19-year-old is batting .375/.423/.667 with two homers and five RBI. He's also stolen a base in three consecutive contests, but hasn't played in more than a week as he battles a wrist injury.

Justin Dunn, Mariners (minors)

Dunn was the second high-end prospect that propelled the Diaz-Canó trade into motion. The 23-year-old has enjoyed a solid season in Double-A, but has yet to finish six innings in his last three starts. He's also allowed seven earned runs on 15 hits and four walks over his last two outings (10 2/3 innings).

The right-hander is 4-3 with a 3.66 ERA and 72 strikeouts over 59 innings. Opponents are hitting .254 against Dunn, who owns a 1.29 WHIP through 12 starts.

Matt Harvey, Angels

On the injured list with an upper back strain since May 25, Harvey suffered a setback during his rehab start with Triple-A Salt Lake last Saturday. The Dark Knight surrendered eight runs on eight hits in 2 2/3 innings and his velocity dropped significant after he delivered a perfect first inning.

That prompted concern from Angels manager Brad Ausmus, who said Harvey isn't scheduled for further evaluation. He has a 7.50 ERA in 10 Major League starts this year.

Jay Bruce, Phillies

An easy way to get your new teammates to like you is to homer in every game. No, Bruce hasn't done that since joining the Phillies from the Mariners last week, but it sure feels like it. The 32-year-old outfielder is hitting .308 with a 1.085 OPS and five homers in 11 games. Bruce cooled off this week after bursting onto the scene with his new club.

Bruce exited the Phillies' game Saturday against the Braves with a mild left hamstring strain, according to Philadelphia manager Gabe Kapler, who said it will be a day-to-day injury.

And yes, Bruce was included with both Kelenic and Dunn in the Mariners' deal this offseason.

Kevin Plawecki, Indians

Plawecki started two games this week and went 0-for-4 Wednesday before putting together a two-hit effort Saturday with a walk and an RBI. In 78 at-bats this season, the backstop has 14 hits and two homers.

Asdrubal Cabrera, Rangers

Last Sunday, Cabrera hit his first homer in nearly 20 days and finished with three hits and two runs scored. But he had four hits in his previous 27 plate appearances this week -- none for extra bases -- entering Sunday. Cabrera has gone deep 10 times this season and has plated 41 runs.

Curtis Granderson, Marlins

Granderson's average dipped to .179 after an 0-for-5 showing Saturday. The veteran does have seven homers, but it appears his playing time may be decreasing in the near future. He did club a three-run homer on Wednesday.

Travis d'Arnaud, Rays

The former Met -- and Dodger, after he played in one game for his hometown team -- is carving out a niche for a contender, the Rays. He's found success in a platoon situation behind the dish and, in an effort for him to get more at-bats, even started at first base Thursday. In June, d'Arnaud is hitting .346/.379/.769 with three homers, two doubles and 10 RBIs.
