Former Knicks forward Mario Hezonja agreed to a deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Hezonja will join a team that lost in the Western Conference finals last year on a one-year minimum deal with a player option for a second year, CAA agent Michael Tellem told Wojnarowski.
The 24-year-old Hezonja averaged 8.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 58 games with the Knicks last season.
A former No. 5 pick of the Orlando Magic, the Knicks signed Hezonja to a one-year, $6.5 million deal last offseason. Since making his NBA debut, he has averaged 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
