The Kevin Durant free agency saga will come to an end tonight.

The star free agent plans to announce his much-anticipated decision on the Instagram account of his company-owned sports business network, The Boardroom (@theboardroom), according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Knicks and Nets are among the teams who are in contention to sign Durant, along with the Clippers and Warriors.

Durant, who likely will not play at all next season as he recovers from an Achilles' tear, can make the most money with Golden State, which can offer him a five-year, $221 million deal.

The Knicks, Clippers and Nets can offer a max deal of $164 million over four years.

SNY's Ian Begley reported earlier on Sunday that one aspect of the Knicks' pitch to Durant was selling him on the money he can make off the court in New York City through different opportunities.

The Nets are in position to reach a deal with Kyrie Irving, whom many expected to team up with Durant. However, as SNY's Begley reported earlier this week, the Nets are not the favorites to land Durant and the addition of Irving could actually hurt them.

Durant and Raptors free agent Kawhi Leonard have also discussed the possibility of teaming up together, per ESPN, and the Knicks and Clippers are the two clear-cut choices if that were to happen.
