Things to know about Wednesday's game

1) The Knicks had a poor effort on the defensive side of the ball in this one, as the Sixers shot 53.8 percent from the field. Joel Embiid and newly-acquired Tobias Harris cashed in the most, finishing with 26 and 25 points respectively. Embiid also had 14 rebounds to collect another double-double on the season.

2) But Embiid wasn't the only big man that had a great night. Mitchell Robinson continued his recent surge of success with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and a game-high four blocks including ones on Embiid and Jimmy Butler. Over his last five games, Robinson is averaging 12.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.8 blocks, and is shooting 74 percent from the field.

3) Kevin Knox may not have figured out his shooting woes just yet (4-for-10, 1-for-4 from three), but he did get the MSG crowd on their feet after a posterizing dunk over last season's Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons. Grabbing a pass from DeAndre Jordan, Knox rose over the outstretched hand of Simmons for the best highlight of the game.

4) The Knicks received some good production from its bench tonight. Other than Robinson, Allonzo Trier had a team-high 19 points on 5-of-9 shooting with four rebounds and four assists as well. Damyean Dotson also had 16 points, while Kadeem Allen collected 13 points.

5) New York continues to build their franchise-record losing streak that now moves to 18 games.
