This was a nice win for the Rangers and their first in regulation this season. Alex Georgiev was solid in net, Neal Pionk played a big role and the Rangers top line carried them offensively.
Mika Zibanejad is looking like the player that the Rangers want and hope he can be. He's being used in all situations, creating offense and wearing a letter on his jersey. He is very much in the future plans for the Rangers and should hopefully combine with Filip Chytil, and/or Lias Andersson/Brett Howden to provide real good group of centers that can anchor the Rangers down the middle for many years.
Mats Zuccarello, long one of the poster boys for how the Rangers pass up shots, scored twice to get in the goal column for the first time this season. Zucc is and has been an extremely big part of the Rangers the last number of years and it's great to see him both shoot and get rewarded.
