Six takeaways from Wednesday's game

1. The Rays were clearly playing with a chip on their shoulder. The first four guys to come to the plate all scored - Manuel Margot doubled to lead off the game, and then Randy Arozarena just cleared the wall with a two-run home run. Austin Meadows singled, and then Mike Brosseau got sweet, sweet revenge, blasting a two-run bomb into his own bullpen. The Rays batted around in the first as Jordan Montgomery was knocked out of the game with just two outs in the first inning.

2. A drone hovered over Yankee Stadium in the bottom half of the first inning, delaying the game for several minutes. But Rays' pitcher Charlie Morton was unfazed. Despite allowing a walk to Aaron Hicks in the inning, Morton retired the side, and then struck out all three batters he faced in the second inning.

3. Gio Urshela got the Yankees' first hit of the night - a one-out double in the fourth inning. But Mike Tauchman and Gary Sanchez both struck out swinging to end the threat.

4. Ben Heller was ejected upon hitting Hunter Renfroe with a fastball. Heller pleaded his case that it was accidental, but to no avail after Tuesday night's occurrences.

5. Clint Frazier kept his bat hot, blasted a solo home run, his fourth of the year, in the sixth inning. Urshela singled, and Sanchez walked, but Brett Gardner grounded out to end the rally.

6. The Yankees had a little rally in the bottom of the ninth, bringing up the tying run with two outs, but Luke Voit grounded out to end what would have been another wild comeback.
