Eight takeaways from Monday's game

1) With runners on the corners and two outs, Urshela lined a 1-1 Luke Bard fastball into right-center field to break a 3-3 tie.

2) Jonathan Holder pitched two scoreless innings of relief as the Yankees won their fourth straight game.

3) Urshela went 2-for-5, also hitting a go-ahead sac fly in the top of the 12th inning. Clint Frazier, who hit a leadoff double, appeared to injure his ankle on a pickoff attempt at second base but stayed in the game after trainer Steve Donohue and manager Aaron Boone visited him. Frazier advanced to third on a groundout and scored on Urshela's fly ball to center.

4) In the bottom of the 12th, Chapman hit Zack Cozart on a 1-2 slider to put runners on first and second for Brian Goodwin, who hit a two-out, game-tying single to center to score pinch runner Peter Bourjos.

5) J.A. Happ struck out five batters and allowed two runs and three hits in seven strong innings, settling down after the second inning. Happ retired 13 of the last 14 batters he faced.

6) Luke Voit hit a solo homer in the first inning off Matt Harvey that gave the Yankees a 1-0 lead and extended his hitting streak to nine games. Happ gave the lead right back in the second inning when he surrendered a two-run home run to Jonathan Lucroy. The Yankees tied it in the third inning when Kyle Higashioka tagged up from third base on a Gleyber Torres foul out to right field.

7) Harvey allowed two runs and three hits in six innings, continuing his success against the Yankees. In four career starts against New York, Harvey is 1-0 with a 1.63 ERA.

8) The Yankees did not record a hit between Urshela's fourth-inning single and Frazier's leadoff double in the 12th. In that span, the Angels retired 22 of 23 Yankees hitters.
