LHP J.A. Happ (8-5. 4.86 ERA), who returns to the mound after a win over the Rockies on July 19. He tossed five innings, allowing eight hits, but gave up just two runs and punched out eight hitters en route to his eighth victory of the season. In 15.2 innings pitched in July, he's allowed just five runs and lowered his ERA from 5.23 to 4.86. Happ last faced the Twins on Sept. 10 of last season, when he threw six scoreless innings in a Yankees win.

Who is starting for the Twins?

RHP Jake Odorizzi (11-4, 3.18 ERA), who is in the midst of the best season of his Major League career. He was selected to the All-Star Game for the first time in his career and his 11 wins are already tied for the most he's had in a season, while his ERA (3.18) and WHIP (1.13) would also mark career bests. He wasn't at his best in his last start, however, lasting just five innings against the A's on July 19, yielding three runs on six hits.
